When they get there, they find that Kevin and Prescott have dealt with the intruders. Suspicious something is wrong, Kate takes Buzz and Megan and heads to the mansion. Kate later answers the phone, only for it to cut off before Kevin can fully explain the situation he is in. Buzz refuses to believe Kevin, and annoyed at the gifts he was flourished with, accuses him of being a show off and hangs up.
When Kevin and the butler Prescott are held captive in the wine cellar by Marv Marchins, Vera Murchins and Molly Murchins, Kevin attempts to phone his mother for help, only for Buzz to answer the phone. Kevin shows his siblings the early gifts given to him by their father and Natalie, which causes Buzz to become envious. Kate later stops by with Buzz and Megan in order to give Kevin some of his things, and Buzz is impressed by the house. This causes Kevin to leave home and go and live with their father and his girlfriend Natalie Kalban at their home for Christmas. Buzz calls Kevin names like cheeseface, and he also calls him lamebrain when he is holding Kevin's feet while Megan sits on him. Because he is forced to watch Kevin, Buzz decides to torture his little brother by making him clean the fish tank, take out the bins where he slams his hands and throws the washing out of Kevin's hands. Buzz would rather go to the movies with his friends instead of watching Kevin while his mom goes out.
